Directorate of Fisheries has its Head Office at Panaji. It provides Infrastructural facilities,
deals with the Registration of Fishing vessel, Fishing canoes/Fishing crafts, fishing nets etc. The Directorate also implements various developmental as well as welfare schemes for the
upliftment of the Fishermen and the fishing industry in Goa State.
