Awareness Program

Departmental Officials of Directorate of Fisheries, Government of Goa conducted an awareness camp to enlighten on various Departmental schemes for the locals from Virnoda Village Panchayat, Pernem.

The Department Officials of Directorate of Fisheries, in collaboration with the Primary Health Centre, Siolim, organized an awareness program at Chapora Jetty in Bardez, Goa. This initiative aimed to educate fishermen and crew members about the rising threat of vector-borne diseases. Participants were informed about the prevention, and treatment measures to safeguard their health while working in the fishing industry.
