FRESH WATER FISH SEED HATCHERY
The Department has Fresh Water Fish Seed Hatchery at Anjunem, Keri, Sattari. This hatchery produces quality seed of Indian Major Carp i.e. Catla, Rohu and common carp. Every year the Department produces advanced fingerlings of good quality and supply of fish farmers at a reasonable rate. Also, fish seed is procured from outside State and are supplied to the fish farmers to meet high demand of fish seed in the State.
