Quantum of Assistance

General category 50% subsidy limited to Rs.60,000/- and for SC/ST 50% subsidy limited to Rs.80,000/-

Eligibility/Criteria

1. The beneficiary should be traditional fishermen by birth or profession and should be resident of Goa.
2. The beneficiary or any member of his household should not be defaulter with Directorate of Fisheries, Goa.
3. The beneficiary will be entitled for grant of subsidy once every four years on one craft per family household.
4. The canoe purchased through the scheme shall be duly registered with the Directorate of Fisheries under MFR Act 1980/ MS Act.
5. The beneficiary shall not sell, lease, mortgage or transfer the wooden/ FRP craft for a period of 5 years from the date of purchase of the said wooden/FRP craft.
6. The wooden/FRP craft purchased shall be operated exclusively for fishing purpose only.

Quantum of Assistance

Financial Assistance to the tune of 50:25:25 basis where the 50% would be Central Share, 25% would be state share and 25% would be the beneficiary.

Eligibility/Criteria

• 5 Life jacket and one lifebuoy for canoe fitted with OBM.
• 8 life jacket and 2 Life buoys for the Mechanised Trawlers engaged in trawling operations
• 25 Life Jackets and 4 Life Buoys to the Mechanised Trawlers engaged in Purse seining operation.

1. The beneficiary should possess an own registered fishing canoe.
2. The beneficiary should or any of his household should not be defaulter with the Directorate of Fisheries.
3. The original VAT bill may be submitted by the beneficiary from authorized dealer to claim the subsidy.
4. The beneficiary shall not sell, lease and transfer the Gill Net for a period of five years from the dated of purchase of first Gill Net.
5. The fishing net shall be duly registered with Directorate of Fisheries.

2. The beneficiary belonging to SC/ST/Woman Category is eligible for the grant of 60% subsidy limited to Rs. 36,000/- on a unit cost of Rs. 60,000/- (excluding GST).

Eligibility/Criteria (a) The beneficiary shall possess the valid Barrier net registration certificate and License certificate issued by the Department of Fisheries.

(b)The beneficiary shall produce the bills from the authorized dealers towards the purchase of barrier net and its accessories.

(c) The beneficiary can avail the scheme after every 4 years.

How to Apply The applicant shall obtain the prescribed application form issued by Directorate of Fisheries from B.D.O. office/sub-offices of Directorate of Fisheries by paying Rs. 50/- and submit the duly filled application form to concern fisheries official posted at B.D.O. office/sub-offices of Directorate of Fisheries.

Quantum of Assistance

1. The beneficiary belonging to General Category is eligible for the grant of 50% subsidy limited to Rs. 30,000/- on amount cost of Rs. 60,000/- (excluding GST).

2. The beneficiary belonging to SC/ST/Woman Category is eligible for the grant of 60% subsidy limited to Rs. 36,000/- on a unit cost of Rs. 60,000/- (excluding GST).

Eligibility/Criteria

1. The beneficiary shall possess the valid stake allotment permission issued by the Department of Fisheries.

2. The beneficiary shall possess the valid Stake net registration certificate and License certificate issued by the Department of Fisheries.

3. The beneficiary shall produce the bills from the authorised dealers towards the purchase of Stake net and its accessories.

4. The beneficiary can avail the scheme after every 3 years.

How to Apply The applicant shall obtain the prescribed application form issued by Directorate of Fisheries from B.D.O. office/sub-offices of Directorate of Fisheries by paying Rs. 50/- and submit the duly filled application form to concern fisheries official posted at B.D.O. office/sub-offices of Directorate of Fisheries.

3. The beneficiary belonging to SC/ST/Woman Category is eligible for the grant of 60% subsidy limited to Rs. 12,000/- on a unit cost of Rs. 20,000/-.

• Eligibility criteria

1. The beneficiary shall be fish vendor registered with the Department of Fisheries and shall possess the valid identity card issued by the Department of Fisheries, Government of Goa.

5. The beneficiary can avail the scheme once every 03years.

2. Original Invoice towards purchases such as Crates, Weighing Balance, Insulated Box, Gloves, Stool, platform to keep Gloves, Stool, platform to keep Fish/ Umbrella, Choppers and other Equipment related to fish vendor.
3. Identity card (Fish Vendor) issued by Directorate of Fisheries.
4. Copy of Aadhaar card.
5. Copy of Bank Passbook linked with Aadhar Card
6. Mandate form.
7. ST/SC Certificate (If applicable)

• Quantum of subsidy

1. The Applicant engaged in selling/marketing of fish will be eligible for 01 Insulated Box of 50 liters capacity and will be entitled for subsidy to the extent of 75% of the cost limited to Rs. 1500/-.
2. The Applicant actively engaged in fishing at sea with Canoe will be eligible for one Insulated Box of 100 liters and subsidy to the extent of 75% of the cost limited to Rs. 3000/- and 01 Insulated Box of 220 liters capacity and subsidy to the extent of 75% of the cost limited to Rs. 4,000/-.
3. The Applicant engaged in fishing at Sea with Mechanized Fishing Vessel up to 06 cylinder engine will be eligible for 01 Insulated Box of 220 liters and subsidy to the extent of 75% of the cost limited to Rs. 4,000/- and 01 insulated box of 400 liters capacity and subsidy to the extent of 75% of the cost limited to Rs. 11,000/-

• Eligibility criteria

1. Fishermen engaged in selling and marketing of Fish will be eligible for 01 Insulated Box of 50 liters capacity.
2. The Fishermen engaged in fishing at sea with Canoe shall be eligible for01InsulatedBoxof 100 liters capacity and 01 Insulated Box of 220 liters capacity.
3. The Fishermen engaged in fishing at Sea with Mechanized Fishing Vessel up to 06 Cylinder Engine shall be eligible for 01 Insulated Box of 220 liters capacity and 01 Insulated Box of 400 liters capacity.

• Eligibility criteria

1. The beneficiary shall either possess the OBC Kharvi Certificate or Profession certificate issued by the competent authority such as by Mamlatdar or Chief Officer of concerned Municipality or Secretary of concerned Village Panchayat or Fishing Net License duly registered with the Directorate of Fisheries.
2. The beneficiary shall be eligible for financial assistance for only one fishing canoe of below 26 feet for fishing in inland waters.
3. The beneficiary shall possess the valid net registration certificate and License certificate issued by the Department of Fisheries.
4. The fishing canoe shall be registered with the Department of Captain of Ports, Government of Goa.
5. The beneficiary shall produce the bills from the authorized boat dealer towards the construction of the fishing canoe.
6. The beneficiary can avail the scheme after every 7 years against the replacement of his/ her existing canoe.
7. The applicant shall submit the application within six months of registering their fishing canoe with Captain of Ports.

2. Original Invoice towards purchase/ construction of new FRP.
3. Vessel registration certificate issued by Captain of Ports.
4. River gill net registration certificate and license certificate issued by the Department of Fisheries.
5. Undertaking as per proforma.
6. Copy of Aadhaar card.
7. ST/SC Certificate (if applicable).
8. Professional certificate/OBC Kharvi Certificate/ Fishing Net license duly registered with the Directorate of Fisheries.
9. ECS Mandate form along with Bank Passbook

• Eligibility criteria

1. The fishing canoe shall be registered with the Department of Captain of Ports or the Directorate of Fisheries, Government of Goa and shall submit the vessel registration certificate duly incorporating the details of the out board motor purchased under the scheme.
2. The beneficiary shall produce the bills from the authorized dealer towards the purchase of the out board motor of 2HP to 5 HP.
3. The beneficiary shall possess the valid River Gill net registration certificate and License certificate issued by the Department of Fisheries.
4. The beneficiary can avail the scheme after every 5 years.
5. The beneficiary shall be eligible for financial assistance for only one outboard motor for fitting to his fishing canoe of below 26 feet.
